Is Apple becoming more predictable?
Apple is a very well known company for being secretive about their upcoming products. But even though the new design of the MacBooks is amazingly good looking, some might question "How didn't we not see this design coming?"
Follow up:
For many years, Apple has kept their products distinctly different. The MacBook pro featured the all Grey aluminum, while the MacBook featured the white plastic. The iMac was also white, but didn't share any detailed features.
Now it is a different story. In early 2008, Apple introduced the new all aluminum iMac which features a black boarder around the screen. In October of 2008, Apple introduced the New MacBook Pro, and MacBook with striking resemblance to the new iMac.
Maybe Apple is trying to unify its product looks and build a new image for their products. But what ever it might be, I don't think it would be too hard to predict what the next MacBook Air is going to look like.
